Welcome to USBUSU
Who are we?
A group of strange, but highly intelligent individuals from South Adelaide in Australia. We do lots of stuff and have some awesome, but crazy ideas on just about any topic. We hope to have the following things, one day:
- A scams company (Usbusu Scams Department)
- A public transport system; including buses, trains, aircraft and armoured tanks (Usbusu Transport Department)
- Our own TV station (Channel D)
- Manufacter of useful appliances such as the Autoshanker™ and FindStuff Express™ (Usbusu Quality Appliances)
- A film production studio and set (Channel D Films)
- Our own religion (Llamanism)
- Any many more.
What is the point?
We like having and maintaining a website, and we don't care that it doesn't really have a point. The only person who has even given us angry feedback was someone looking for a Spanish bus service (es bus) and was annoyed by the lack of bus-related content on our site. We hope to rectify this once the Usbusu Transport Department is up and running. Indeed, most of our crazy schemes are a joke, which we find funny and don't expect any other people to understand or find funny in any way. Our site is here to make us happy and serve our entertainment needs. We hope that any visitors to our site get some sort of entertainment out of it, but we don't have particularly high hopes for that.
What does our site do?
As I said, the site serves our own purposes. We do intent to register Usbusu Enterprises as an Australian business name eventually so we can sell our DVDs and hire out our equipment and knowledge to those who require them. We have no current plans to shut down or delete our site or the business it represents. The name USBUSU was originally given to an MSN Group for those of us at school who owned USB Flash Memory devices, back in the 64 MB days (wow, 64 times the space of a floppy disk and only $80!). USBUSU originally stood for Universal Serial Bus Users Service United. It is now a generic name we use for our group and is no longer an acronym for anything.
